Management level government administrative officials will not be given licenses to provide any kind of professional, advisory or supervisory services in the construction industry in a private capacity.

Under a circular issued by the Ministry of Construction that will take effect on August 10, Vietnamese citizens and Vietnamese expatriates working legally in the construction sector can apply for licenses to work as architects, engineers and construction site supervisors.

Foreigners who are working legally in the construction sector are also entitled to receive the licenses if they apply for them.
