The Vietnam Construction and Import - Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex) has reported to the HCM City’s Department of Transport on a project to build the Thu Thiem 2 bridge.
The bridge will be located in Ton Duc Thang road, District 1, going through the Ba Son factory, the Sai Gon River and the Thu Thiem new urban area in District 2.
It has four lanes with a 2m-wide median. There will also be greenery and a pedestrian walkway.
Thu Thiem 2 aims to connect the city’s old centre to its new urban area.
